On May 8, 2026, Tipness Co., Ltd., based in Chiyoda, Tokyo, and Komatsu City, led by Mayor Katsuye Miyahashi, formalized a partnership agreement aimed at fostering connections between urban areas and the rural satoyama (foothill forests) of Komatsu City.
