Spanning over 80,600 square feet, the center will offer an array of services including an afterschool program, a children's primary healthcare center, fitness amenities, and spaces dedicated to seniors and meetings. This ambitious project received a total of $43.8 million in QLICIs accumulated from six CDEs, showcasing the collaborative effort in driving community enhancements.

Nonmetro QLICI of the Year: Benn High Redevelopment, Bennington, Vermont



In Bennington, Vermont, a transformative initiative will see the repurposing of the former high school building into a vibrant mixed-use development. This project aims to integrate childcare, recreation, senior services, and housing. The financial support of $34.2 million from three CDEs underscores its commitment to fostering community welfare and enriching lives.

Real Estate QLICI of the Year: Lotus Children's Village, Miami, Florida



Miami's Overtown neighborhood will benefit from the expansion of the Lotus House Women’s Shelter, which is set to welcome Lotus Children's Village. This new 70,000-square-foot facility will serve over 2,500 children annually with essential services designed to support their growth and development. With a total investment of $31 million through QLICIs, this initiative exemplifies the intersection of community service and investment, dedicated to improving the lives of families in need.

Small Business QLICI of the Year: Stewart Glass, Logan, Ohio



After the closure of the GE Lighting plant in Logan, Ohio, a new chapter begins with the development of Stewart Glass, a solar glass production facility. Once completed, it will not only revive the local economy but also offer over 200 jobs, focusing on employing workers affected by previous plant shutdowns. A $1.5 million QLICI served as a pivotal financial lifeline for this project, demonstrating the impactful nature of community-focused businesses.

Operating Business QLICI of the Year: The Garden, Knightdale, North Carolina



The Raleigh Rescue Mission is in the process of constructing The Garden, a crucial facility aimed at aiding 350 women and children facing homelessness. This comprehensive campus will include a six- to twelve-month structured residency and a dedicated children's learning center. Through various QLICIs amounting to nearly $47 million, The Garden represents a significant stride toward fostering stability and support for vulnerable populations in the area.
