ISFnet to Host Diversity and Human Rights 'Diver-In Week' for Employees

ISFnet's Commitment to Diversity and Human Rights: 'Diver-In Week'

In a progressive step towards enhancing workplace inclusivity, ISFnet, headquartered in Minato, Tokyo, is set to host its annual internal event, "Diver-In Week," from December 8 to 12, 2025. This initiative aims to foster awareness and understanding of diversity and human rights among its employees through a series of engaging events and content distribution.

Understanding Diver-In Week

"Diver-In Week" is designed to coincide with the Human Rights Week, recognized since 1949 by the Ministry of Justice and the National Federation of Human Rights Protection Commissions. Since its inception in 2022, this event has grown into a platform where employees across all ISFnet locations and group companies can participate in discussions and activities that encourage respect for human rights.

The event will be spearheaded by the Diver-In Employment Committee, which focuses on promoting diversity, respect for human rights, and inclusive work practices. This year, the theme is "I Design Story: Creating an Environment Where Everyone Can Freely Express Themselves." The program will cover various areas, including LGBTQIA issues, parenting and caregiving, disability, and multicultural coexistence.

Key Activities during Diver-In Week

1. DEI Quiz Challenge

One of the highlights of this year’s Diver-In Week will be the live quiz competition related to Diversity, Equity, and Inclusion (DEI). Scheduled during lunchtime, employees from all over the country will be able to participate online, answering questions that will enhance both their knowledge and understanding of DEI principles, while reinforcing their training.

2. Ally Declaration Initiative

As part of fostering a supportive work environment, ISFnet will call for employees to join the Ally Declaration initiative. This involves employees declaring their support for diverse working styles. By showcasing a range of supportive messages, the initiative aims to communicate that minorities feel welcome and have a place within the company.

3. Educational Videos on LGBTQIA Matters

To promote understanding and allyship within the workforce, ISFnet plans to release educational videos focused on LGBTQIA issues. These videos will introduce employees to essential concepts, terminology, and the various initiatives being undertaken around the globe to support LGBTQIA individuals.

4. Cultural Cooking Video Series: 'Aiméishi'

Additionally, ISFnet employs a significant number of individuals from overseas. To celebrate this diversity, the company will showcase traditional dishes from different countries through a cooking video series titled 'Aiméishi.' This initiative aims to foster mutual understanding and appreciation of diverse cultures among ISFnet employees.
