Tokyo International Film Festival Teams Up with LINE VOOM to Present Special Short Drama Initiative

Special Collaboration for the 38th Tokyo International Film Festival

The 38th Tokyo International Film Festival has partnered with LINE Corporation to introduce a unique initiative on the popular short video platform, LINE VOOM. From October 27 to November 5, 2025, in celebration of the festival, LINE VOOM will increase available free episodes of three captivating short dramas by about one and a half times, providing viewers with an exciting experience during the film festival.

Special Features

This collaboration aims to deliver a different viewing experience, perfect for enjoying between film screenings or while waiting in line. The special project will highlight the following three dramas:

1. This Love is the Ideal Form.
A heartwarming tale featuring the talents of Fumiya Takahashi and Nono Hana, it presents the bittersweet nature of love and the sacrifices involved. Free episodes 12 to 14 will be available for viewing.

2. The Last Lesson: Only the Survivors Graduate.
This drama stars Yusei Yagi from FANTASTICS, who has gained acclaim for his intense performance. With themes of survival and revenge among students trapped in a deadly game, this series promises tension and drama. Episodes 4 to 6 will be available for free.

3. Running for You.
Featuring Sota Nakajima and a complex narrative of love entangled with multiple personalities, this original story explores the lengths one would go for love. Free episodes 8 to 10 will be accessible.
