Mill Creek Residential Appoints Jack Dellecker as Managing Director in Atlanta

On July 14, 2026, Mill Creek Residential announced a significant addition to its team with the hiring of Jack Dellecker as the new Managing Director of Development in Atlanta. This move comes as the company seeks to expand its footprint in one of the Southeast's most dynamic real estate markets.

With over a decade of experience in the housing industry, Dellecker has a proven track record in overseeing multifamily developments and retail spaces across the region. In his new position, he will be responsible for managing all aspects of the development process in Atlanta, from site acquisition to design, entitlements, financing, and due diligence, making him a key player in advancing Mill Creek's ambitious growth plans.

Luca Barber, who serves as the Executive Managing Director for Mill Creek's development projects across Tennessee, Georgia, and Florida, expressed confidence in Dellecker's abilities. "Jack's extensive background in Southeast development makes him an excellent fit to lead our Atlanta team during this pivotal growth phase," he stated. Barber emphasized Atlanta's vibrant market, noting that the company's existing communities have provided a strong foundation for future endeavors.

Dellecker began his career in the rental-housing sector in 2014. He has been instrumental in the development of over 2,300 multifamily residences as well as around 400,000 square feet of office and retail space within the Southeast. His experience has involved approximately $1 billion in development investments, highlighting his capacity to drive substantial projects.

Before joining Mill Creek, Dellecker served as vice president of development at Flournoy Development Group, one of Atlanta's leading real estate developers. He honed his skills further during his tenure at Carter, focusing on infill development and establishing essential public-private partnerships that have yielded notable successes in the local market.

Academically, Dellecker holds a Bachelor’s degree from the University of Florida and an MBA from Emory University's Goizueta Business School, where he specialized in real estate and private equity. His academic journey included hands-on experience with Granite Properties, specifically in their office acquisitions and market research efforts.

"Joining Mill Creek is an exciting opportunity for me," Dellecker remarked upon his appointment. "I am thrilled to be part of a forward-thinking team and look forward to advancing our strategic objectives. Mill Creek has an impressive reputation in this market, and I am eager to contribute to our future developments."

Mill Creek Residential boasts a robust portfolio in the Atlanta area, featuring notable properties such as Modera Old Ivy, Modera Parkside, Modera Reynoldstown, Modera Westside Trail, and Modera Decatur. With Dellecker at the helm, the company is poised to enhance its position in the competitive Atlanta housing market.
