The event is being organized by the Tokyo Nighttime Appeal Project Committee, collaborating with local businesses and organizations in the area to enhance the nighttime allure of the metropolis. Highlights include a unique countdown event, 'Happy New Year Tokyo 2026,' featuring projection mapping by renowned artist Mika Ninagawa, live performances, and a wealth of interactive art installations.
The 'Shinjuku Neon Walk' will open each evening from 4:30 PM to 10:00 PM, with special late-night hours on New Year's Eve until 1:00 AM.
