VCIPAS Program Launch Event
On May 15, 2026, the Japan Patent Office will host the first public seminar for the VCIPAS (Venture Capital Intellectual Property Advisory Program) from 1 PM to 3:30 PM, designed to enhance investment strategies through intellectual property expertise. This event will focus on how to leverage generative AI in due diligence processes when evaluating potential investments.
The VCIPAS program aims to strengthen startups by sending experts in intellectual property—such as patent attorneys and lawyers—to provide support linked to business strategies for both pre-investment and post-investment stages.
