UPCYCLE GRAMPUS-KUN SPECIAL AUCTION
HATTRICK Auction, operated by Valueance Japan, is gearing up for an exciting event: the UPCYCLE GRAMPUS-KUN SPECIAL AUCTION, taking place from January 13 to January 18, 2026. This auction celebrates a unique collaboration between Nagoya Grampus, Toyota's TOYOTA UPCYCLE project, and HATTRICK, bringing a sustainable approach to sports memorabilia.
The UPCYCLE GRAMPUS-KUN is a special item created to commemorate this initiative, and it features autographs from all eligible members of Nagoya Grampus's team for the 2025 season. The product is crafted using waste materials, specifically leather scraps from Toyota's manufacturing processes, showcasing a commitment to sustainability and upcycling.
In addition to the UPCYCLE GRAMPUS-KUN, a variety of upcycled bags will also be available for purchase during the auction. These bags are made from past uniforms worn by the players and incorporate materials such as seat belts, seat leather, and nylon fabric typically used in airbags, purchased from Toyota's production lines. The sale highlights the importance of reusing materials to create new, functional products.
Nagoya Grampus, a professional football club based in Aichi Prefecture, has been actively engaging in SDGs (Sustainable Development Goals) initiatives since 2020. This partnership between HATTRICK and Nagoya Grampus aims to foster local community engagement while promoting sustainability through interactive events and the sale of eco-friendly items.
