e-Sports High School Achievements at Yokosuka e-sports Cup
In an exhilarating display of skills and teamwork, students from e-Sports High School made headlines by securing remarkable positions at the well-renowned
Yokosuka e-sports cup. Held in
Yokosuka, this tournament not only brought together high school students but also demonstrated the rising popularity of e-sports in Japan.
The event, organized by the
Yokosuka Attraction and Promotion Committee and supported by the
Ministry of Economy, Trade and Industry, as well as local educational boards, marked its sixth iteration this year. It attracted an impressive 127 teams from around the nation, showcasing the competitive spirit and talent of high school students in e-sports.
Outstanding Performance
The competition featured the much-loved game
VALORANT, where teams battled it out in a 5v5 format. After fierce qualification rounds held online on
August 5, 2025, four teams from each block advanced to the offline finals on
August 20 at the
Ichigo Yokosuka Port Market. It was here that e-Sports High School's team
RAFX dreams clinched the second place, while their counterparts
Five Ace secured third in a thrilling final showdown.
