On October 14, 2025, His Excellency Sheikh Dr. Salem bin Abdulrahman Al Qasimi, the President of the Sharjah Ruler's Office, visited the captivating Government of Sharjah Pavilion at GITEX Global 2025 held at the Dubai World Trade Centre. This pavilion, showcasing the remarkable digital journey of Sharjah, features 20 government entities united under the theme "Powered by Technology, Driven by People."

During his visit, Sheikh Dr. Al Qasimi engaged with various digital innovations and technological projects presented by the participating government bodies. These initiatives are designed to enhance digital integration within Sharjah, improve government efficiency, and elevate the quality of life. This reflects the emirate's vision for a people-centric, sustainable digital future.

The pavilion presented four central ecosystems: Digital Experiences, Environmental Sustainability, Smart Cities, and Our Humanity. Each ecosystem offered proactive solutions aimed at fostering seamless collaboration among government entities, driven by artificial intelligence and data connectivity.

His Excellency also participated in the Sharjah Digital Hackathon, organized by the Sharjah Digital Department in collaboration with Rubu' Qarn Center for Science and Technology and the Sharjah Youth Council. This initiative focuses on strengthening Sharjah's innovation ecosystem, empowering youth and governmental talent, and fostering the development of AI-based solutions to enhance urban infrastructure, efficiency, and agility in government services.

Within the Digital Experiences segment, the Sharjah Digital Department introduced the Sharjah Digital Assistant, an interactive AI assistant functioning in real-time. This assistant allows users immediate access to information and facilitates certain governmental transactions through a conversational interface.

Additionally, the President of the Sharjah Ruler's Office explored the Aqari Platform, a comprehensive digital hub that consolidates real estate services throughout the emirate. This platform connects multiple entities via a unified system, delivering accurate and reliable real estate data to enhance customer experience.

Sheikh Dr. Al Qasimi also reviewed the Nabni Platform, which unifies Sharjah's municipalities to streamline construction processes using AI technology. Furthermore, he examined Empower Gov AI, a unified AI tool designed to enable public sector employees to leverage AI capabilities in their daily tasks. This assistant interlinks various government entities, automates internal inquiries, manages access permits, and boosts overall productivity across departments.

The visit underscored Sharjah's commitment to innovation and the effective integration of technology in government operations, setting a benchmark for future endeavors in digital transformation.
