Experience the Enchanting Peach Blossom Afternoon Tea at Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay

Enchanting Afternoon Tea at Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay

Starting July 1, the Hotel Intercontinental Tokyo Bay will host a limited-time Peach Blossom Afternoon Tea, available at five different venues including the New York Lounge. This delightful experience will immerse you in a whimsical world inspired by clouds, highlighting the star fruit of summer: peaches. You can also take home a selection of to-go afternoon tea boxes offered by the N.Y. Lounge Boutique.

A Fantastical Peach-Themed Experience

One of the specialties of this afternoon tea is the Peach Nuage, a stunning mousse shaped like a peach served with a refreshing peach granita. The mousse, crafted with a light meringue texture, conceals luscious pieces of peach, allowing you to fully savor its rich flavor.

Five types of petit gateaux spice up the menu, each offering a blend of dynamic tastes. The “Grapefruit and Guava Jelly” combines the citrusy bitterness of grapefruit with the sweetness of peach. Meanwhile, the “Lychee and Peach Panna Cotta” delivers a fragrant and subtle sweetness, and the “Lime-scented Peach Pie” adds a zesty twist. You’ll also find moist lemon cake and raspberry mousse garnished with sparkling shine muscat, crafted to be refreshing during the summer heat.

Scrumptious Scones and Savory Bites

Adding to the summer vibrancy, scones are elevated with new flavors: Coconut & Pineapple and a savory Camembert & Black Pepper option, perfect for a savory-sweet contrast. Enjoy these freshly baked scones with peach jam, honey, and clotted cream.

The savory dishes are presented in varying styles across different venues, featuring a total of six offerings in the lounge. Notable selections include Marinated Tomato with White Peach and Octopus and Nasu (Eggplant) and Yellow Peach Tabbouleh, ensuring a peachy delight until the very last bite of the meal.

At the Manhattan, the French dining that overlooks Tokyo Bay offers a revamped experience, allowing guests to select their appetizers from a buffet-style setup. You can enjoy up to 14 savory options curated in this unique style.

Flexible Dining Options

In addition to the traditional afternoon tea, the La Provence Fine Dining and Italian Dining Gillion provide lunch and dinner courses that include afternoon tea-style desserts. Guests have the flexibility to choose their dining venue according to their preference and occasion.
