Innovations Driving Global Supply Chains at CISCE 2026
The
4th China International Supply Chain Expo (CISCE) is set to take place in Beijing from
June 22 to 26, 2026. This significant event aims to spotlight innovations that enhance global supply chains. Li Xingqian, Deputy Chairman of the
China Council for the Promotion of International Trade, emphasized that innovation would be at the heart of this year's expo, with three key initiatives introduced to foster global collaboration in supply chains.
A notable feature this year is the introduction of a dedicated
AI Zone. This marked area, developed in collaboration with leading semiconductor companies, is designed around the AI industry chain, encompassing aspects like data, sensor technologies, computational power, algorithms, and practical application solutions. This provides a platform for leading AI firms from both China and abroad, including titans like
NVIDIA, to showcase the entire AI industry ecosystem.
During the expo,
over 160 new products, technologies, services, and
application scenarios will be presented for the first time. The
CISCE LaunchPad will host more than 30 critical events that offer exhibitors the chance to introduce their latest innovations and technological advancements.
Last year's
Innovation Chain Zone returns with significant enhancements. The zone, which is founded upon three pillars—
institutional frameworks, innovation platforms, and
support services—aims to interconnect all phases of the innovation chain. This includes areas like intellectual property protection, technology incubation, and commercialization efforts, which contribute to building a more connected innovation ecosystem.
Emerging and future-focused sectors will also take center stage, such as artificial intelligence (AI), deep space exploration, bio-manufacturing, and quantum technologies. These areas will showcase a wide range from data processing capabilities to tangible applications.
Furthermore, the expo will feature the
2026 edition of the Global Supply Chain Promotion Report, alongside a new
Global Supply Chain Resilience Index Matrix and other significant research findings. Attendees can also expect to see industry maps that highlight the six core areas of the supply chain:
digital technology, advanced manufacturing, sustainable agriculture, healthy living, smart vehicles, and
clean energy. These will outline key stages of the supply chain and the companies involved at each level, offering valuable insights into the industry's landscape.
