EVE Energy Launches 6.9 MWh Energy Storage System and Signs Over 50 GWh in Contracts

EVE Energy, an innovative leader in energy solutions, made a remarkable announcement at a professional event in Beijing, China. The company has officially launched its next-generation Battery Energy Storage System (BESS) with a capacity of 6.9 MWh. This system exemplifies EVE Energy's commitment to enhancing energy storage technology, and the company unveiled several significant advancements in the sector during the event.

The newly launched 6.9 MWh BESS is a substantial addition to EVE Energy’s product lineup. Constructed within a standard 20-foot container, this system achieves a remarkable 10% increase in energy density compared to previous generations, with a cell-level volumetric energy density exceeding 430 Wh/l. Its design optimization results in a 6% reduction in installation footprint, which could potentially save around 2.6 million yuan in initial investment costs for each station. The system offers an impressive lifespan of 10,000 cycles at 70% State of Health (SOH), while maintaining a strict temperature control within a 5°C differential, achieved through active balancing and precise temperature regulation.

Safety is a top priority for EVE Energy; hence, the new system is equipped with a comprehensive five-stage protective mechanism that operates at a full voltage of 1,500 V DC. It incorporates advanced safety solutions that leverage artificial intelligence, multiple detection systems, and staged fire suppression tactics, ensuring a controlled environment from early warning to fire extinguishing.

The safety credentials of EVE Energy’s systems were further reaffirmed when the CSA Group presented a certificate at the event, indicating the successful completion of large-scale fire testing for both their 628 Ah battery and the 5 MWh BESS. Adhering to stringent international standards like CSA/ANSI C80025, UL 9540A, and NFPA 855, these tests verified the fire safety and heat escape control capabilities under extreme fire conditions. The company’s outdoor integrated energy storage unit, rated at 261 kWh, received CB, CE, and AS certifications from SGS, while the BESS S6900 system earned CB and CE certifications, laying a strong foundation for international market expansion.

In addition to unveiling their cutting-edge products and achieving critical safety certifications, EVE Energy solidified partnerships by signing strategic cooperation agreements with five key industry players. These partners include Beijing Goldwind Zero Carbon Energy Co., Ltd., Zhejiang Jinko Energy Storage Co., Ltd., Jiangsu Linyang Energy Equipment Co., Ltd., China Energy Construction Energy Storage Technology (Wuhan) Co., Ltd., and Shanghai Ronghe Yuan Energy Storage Co., Ltd. These collaborations are focused on large-scale batteries and pivotal energy storage products, with a total contract volume exceeding 50 GWh.

With the successful launch of these new products, reinforced safety assurances, and substantial orders, EVE Energy has clearly demonstrated its technological prowess and market strength in the field of large-scale battery storage systems. The company is poised to continue strengthening its capabilities in high-capacity energy storage while working alongside global partners to foster the growth of the energy storage industry ecosystem.
