Marugen Ramen's 25th Anniversary Celebration
Marugen Ramen, a leading Japanese ramen chain with 244 locations nationwide, is excited to announce a special collaboration with the beloved children's book series, "The Bear School," to commemorate its 25th anniversary. This initiative, spearheaded by Monogatari Corporation under the leadership of President Hiroyuki Kato, aims to deepen connections with fans and introduce a fun new aspect to dining at Marugen.
Starting on August 1, 2026, and continuing for several weeks, customers can look forward to downloading a total of ten original wallpapers featuring characters from "The Bear School." Each week, two new wallpapers will be released for download—one from the regular collection and one exclusive to app members. This initiative not only celebrates Marugen's rich history but also brings joy to both ramen lovers and fans of the beloved character series.
Downloadable Wallpapers
The wallpapers will feature a variety of designs inspired by the whimsical world of "The Bear School," which has captured the hearts of readers since its debut in 2002. With over 2.31 million copies sold worldwide, the series tells the story of 12 little bears living in a forest boarding school, and it has enjoyed ongoing popularity, both domestically and internationally, with merchandise and collaborative projects often bringing its characters to life.
Fans can easily access the wallpapers by visiting the dedicated anniversary page on Marugen's website or through the official app, where they can claim exclusive designs. The campaign is not just a marketing strategy but also an homage to the enduring quality and charm of both Marugen Ramen and "The Bear School."
