PRÆSIDIAD Appoints Benjamin Neumann as New CEO, Expanding Global Leadership

PRÆSIDIAD Welcomes Benjamin Neumann as CEO

In a significant leadership transition, PRÆSIDIAD, the parent company of renowned firms Betafence and Hesco, announced the appointment of Benjamin Neumann as its new Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. This decision was made public on September 24, 2025, reinforcing the company's commitment to enhancing its position in the highly competitive security solutions market.

Benjamin Neumann comes to PRÆSIDIAD with a wealth of international executive experience, particularly in energy, power, and technology sectors. His most recent role was as CEO at Chloride, a leading provider of uninterruptible power supplies (UPS) for energy and infrastructure. Previous positions also include serving as CEO of Gutor, where he successfully oversaw the company’s restructuring and sale to a private equity firm. Furthermore, he held the role of Regional President for Power Systems at Schneider Electric in the Asia-Pacific region and was the global CFO for Schneider Electric's Energy Automation segment.

Paul Lester CBE, the newly appointed non-executive chairman of PRÆSIDIAD, expressed enthusiasm over Neumann’s arrival, stating, "Benjamin brings a wealth of entrepreneurial experience and a customer-centric approach that will significantly enhance PRÆSIDIAD’s growth and strengthen the company's standing in a competitive marketplace." This sentiment highlights the company's anticipation of accelerated growth under Neumann’s leadership, aiming to expand global reach and solidify the market position of both Betafence and Hesco in critical high-security sectors worldwide.

Neumann replaces Dino Koutrouki, who is leaving the group for a new challenge elsewhere. Koutrouki played a crucial role in driving the strategic realignment towards critical infrastructure, and PRÆSIDIAD acknowledges his contributions over the past years.

PRÆSIDIAD is recognized for its leading brands that provide integrated perimeter and physical security solutions. The company manufactures a range of products including fencing solutions, protective barriers, and industrial fencing aimed at securing critical infrastructures and protecting both military and civilian end-users. The expectation is that under Neumann's leadership, PRÆSIDIAD will not only enhance its product offerings but also innovate further, delivering exceptional service and security to diverse markets.

With a strong vision for the future, Neumann’s appointment signals a new chapter for PRÆSIDIAD as it strives to maintain its reputation as a leader in the security solutions industry. As the company looks to strengthen its operational capabilities and expand its customer base, the industry will be watching closely how Neumann's experience and strategic direction will come to fruition.
