The National Paid Elderly Home Association, led by President Toshikatsu Nakazawa and headquartered in Chiyoda, Tokyo, proudly hosted this year's presentation workshop aimed at enhancing the quality of services and fostering growth among staff in the elderly care sector. This year marked a significant turnout, with over 18 member homes from across the country participating in the event. Attendees were treated to a vast array of practical and innovative initiatives that have been implemented at these facilities.
With over 100 participants on-site and more than 40 joining online, the event provided a platform for sharing valuable insights and ideas. Following stringent evaluations, several outstanding examples were honored with awards:
Outstanding Award: Sun City Palace Tsukaguchi
This facility was recognized for its memory care approach that fosters emotional connections and encourages joyful engagement, respecting each resident's individuality.
Excellence Award: Clach-Familia Sakura
Awarded for a program designed to boost subjective health perceptions through a curiosity-driven, independence-encouraging initiative.
Excellence Award: Life Care Garden Shonan
