On July 25, 2025, a highly anticipated release will take place: the final installment of Ardbeg's esteemed 19-year-old series, the Ardbeg Traigh Bhan 19-Year-Old Batch 7. Produced by MHD Moët Hennessy Diageo in Kanda Jimbocho, Tokyo, this limited edition whiskey is crafted in small batches, a tradition that follows the annual cycle of production.
In Batch 7, Ardbeg has not only maintained the tradition of aging in both bourbon and Oloroso sherry casks but has also introduced the highest proportion of Oloroso sherry cask whiskey in the series' history. The result is a complex flavor profile that balances the brand's signature smokiness with bright citrus notes. This batch also features delightful hints of salted caramel, ginger, and cumin, creating a multi-layered tasting experience. Notably, the whiskey's alcohol content has significantly increased from 46.2% to 50.3%, enhancing its bold character and richness—elements fitting for its grand finale.
