Exotec Marks a Decade of Innovation in Warehouse Automation Technology
Exotec: Shaping the Future of Warehouse Automation
Exotec, founded in Paris in 2015, has risen to prominence as a leader in warehouse automation, boasting a decade of transformative innovations. Its flagship product, the Skypod system, represents a significant departure from traditional automation solutions. Designed for flexibility and scalability, the Skypod has been adopted by over 200 clients worldwide, enabling them to meet the demands of modern logistics effectively.
Innovative Solutions for Complex Challenges
The journey began with co-founders Romain Moulin and Renaud Heitz, who sought to address the challenges posed by conventional, rigid automation systems that hindered adaptability. By harnessing a modular approach, Exotec allows businesses to scale operations without compromising efficiency. This adaptability has attracted major brands, including Gap Inc., Uniqlo, and Carrefour, establishing Exotec as a transformative force in the intralogistics sector.
Exotec’s product suite extends beyond the Skypod system, featuring the Skypath conveyor system and the comprehensive WES software, Deepsky. Together, these solutions provide an end-to-end automated experience that tackles the intricate challenges faced by warehouses today.
A Decade of Milestones and Achievements
Over the past ten years, Exotec has made remarkable strides in the logistics field: 10,000 robots have been produced and deployed across various customer sites, completing over 938 million operational cycles and significantly reducing physical strain on warehouse staff. This impressive efficiency translates into faster order fulfillment, greater accuracy, and the ability of clients to adapt to evolving consumer expectations. Remarkably, Exotec has eliminated 90 million kilometers of walking by warehouse operators, equating to nearly 119 round trips to the moon.
