Acquisition Details

On July 8, 2025, APPLIED Adhesives officially announced that it had completed the acquisition of BTmix, which is based in Carson City, Nevada. BTmix is well-regarded for its manufacturing of static mixers and adhesive cartridges, catering to sectors such as automotive, aerospace, construction, and electronics. This acquisition allows APPLIED to broaden its expertise in component manufacturing and expand its service offerings for consumable parts, ultimately benefitting its customer base.

John Feriancek, President and CEO of APPLIED Adhesives, expressed enthusiasm about integrating the talented BTmix team into the APPLIED family. He emphasized that BTmix's established reputation in the static mix industry will enable APPLIED to enhance its service quality and provide more value to its customers.

In addition to the BTmix acquisition, APPLIED Adhesives also completed the acquisition of HG Adhesive Dispensing, another influential entity in the adhesive market, which has been a leader in manufacturing custom adhesive dispensing and cartridge filling equipment since 1978. This company also operates out of Carson City, NV, and primarily serves industries including structural glazing, curtainwalls, and electrical applications.

Feriancek reiterated that acquiring HG Adhesive Dispensing not only reinforces APPLIED’s commitment to enhancing its fluid dispensing technology but also allows the company to venture into new markets, thus showcasing the firm’s ambition for growth and innovation in the adhesive industry.

“This acquisition demonstrates APPLIED's commitment to expand our advanced fluid dispensing offerings and engineering expertise into new markets,” Feriancek stated. He also noted that HG’s long-held reputation for providing innovative equipment solutions complements APPLIED’s existing capabilities nicely.
