NEXCO East Japan, in collaboration with NEXCO East Japan Area Tract, has announced an exciting summer event for families who love taking road trips! From July 15 to September 23, 2024, a limited-time digital stamp rally featuring the beloved Tamagotchi character will take place across designated Service Areas (SA) and Parking Areas (PA) within the NEXCO East Japan network.

Since its debut in 1996, Tamagotchi has enchanted millions around the world. Many fans who grew up playing with Tamagotchis have now become parents themselves, sharing the fun of nurturing these digital pets with their children. The Tamagotchi Highway Stamp Rally aims to create lasting summer memories for families as they visit SAs and PAs, all the while having fun collecting stamps!

What is the Tamagotchi Highway Stamp Rally?

This year marks the 4th installment of the popular digital stamp rally that has previously attracted over 100,000 participants!

In collaboration with the globally loved Tamagotchi, participants will gather stamps at various SAs and PAs. To celebrate their contributions, the first 50,000 people to collect stamps will receive exclusive original merchandise at the SA and PA locations! As a cherry on top, there will also be a lottery for six lucky winners to score the newly launched Tamagotchi Paradise on July 12!

Fun Event Activities

In addition to the stamp rally, there will be exciting events where you can meet and take pictures with Tamagotchi characters!

• - The event kicks off with Photo Panels where families can snap their travel memories with Tamagotchi, a perfect way to capture the spirit of summer road trips.
• - Special Appearances: Keep an eye out for appearances by Tamagotchi characters at select SAs and PAs throughout the campaign.

4. How the Stamp Rally Works: Visitors can collect 12 different Tamagotchi stamps by scanning QR codes on posters and table stickers at participating locations.

- Original Stickers (2 designs) for collecting 2 stamps.
- A Picnic Set (special design) or a 500 Yen digital shopping voucher for collecting 4 stamps, awarded to 1,100 lucky participants.
- An Original Acrylic Stand for collecting 6 stamps to the first 10,000 participants who spend over 1,500 yen at shopping areas.
- Tamagotchi Paradise or a Mascot Set for completing all 12 stamps, with a lottery for 86 prizes.

Connected Campaigns

As part of the promotion, additional campaigns will run:
