Promoting Balanced Nutrition for Health at ‘Flat Chiyoda’ Community Event

On September 17, 2025, the Japan Optimization Nutrition Food Association, led by its president Hiroshi Ito, took part in the community exchange event ‘Flat Chiyoda – Creating a Second Living Room Together’, organized by the Chiyoda District Social Welfare Council. At this engaging event, two experts from the Association, Secretary General Hideki Maeshima and registered dietitian Shiho Kami, delivered a lecture titled ‘Health Tips Exchange Meeting’. Additionally, attendees were given a souvenir of optimized nutrition food to take home.

The purpose of the event was to provide a space for community residents to gather casually, fostering deeper conversations and learning experiences. The venue, ‘39Base’ situated at 3-9-7 Iidabashi, Chiyoda, Tokyo, saw a turnout of health-conscious participants eager to engage in discussions about nutrition and wellness.

The lecture centered on the theme of health from a nutritional standpoint. The speakers illustrated the evolution of nutritional intake among Japanese citizens from the post-war era to the present day.
