Parliament Energy Partners with Ideematec for Major Solar Projects in Texas

Parliament Energy and Ideematec: A New Era for Solar Power in Texas

In an exciting development for the renewable energy landscape in the United States, Parliament Energy has finalized an agreement with Ideematec Inc., a prominent solar tracking systems provider. This partnership marks a significant step towards enhancing solar energy production, with the supply of cutting-edge tracking technology for upcoming solar projects totaling an impressive capacity of 1.2 GWac.

Ideematec, based in Germany, specializes in utility-scale solar tracking systems, and their innovative Horizon LTEC® 1P trackers are set to transform the efficiency and reliability of solar power generation in the Lone Star State. These advanced trackers will be deployed across three key projects in Texas, which are part of Parliament Energy's broader portfolio that encompasses a total capacity of 2.1 GWac.

The projects, ranging in scale from 285 MWac to 505 MWac, are strategically located across Texas, a state known for its abundant sunlight and strong winds. The Horizon LTEC® 1P tracker is engineered to withstand extreme weather conditions, setting it apart as an optimal solution for the region. With features like patented decoupled drive technology and robust hail stow protection, these trackers can endure wind speeds up to 224 mph, making them exceptionally reliable even in turbulent climates.

The partnership builds on the successes of earlier collaborations, particularly the 480 MWac Parliament Solar Project situated north of Houston, which commenced operations in June 2025. The past experiences have laid a solid foundation for this new endeavor, and the next installation is set to begin at the Tehuacana Creek Solar Project, a 505 MWac project located south of Dallas.

Philipp Klemm, the CEO of Ideematec Inc, expressed great enthusiasm about the expansion of their cooperation with Parliament Energy, emphasizing that their proven track record in hurricane-prone areas validates the resilience of the LTEC® 1P system. He stated, "Our proven performance in hurricane-prone regions, combined with our advanced hail stow design, gives PEH confidence that our LTEC® 1P system can withstand both high winds and hail—even when occurring simultaneously."

The alignment of Ideematec's technological capabilities with Parliament Energy's vision for sustainable energy production underscores a collective commitment to advancing the solar sector. Each of these projects not only enhances grid reliability but also reinforces the importance of transitioning to renewable sources of energy.
