Pan Global Drives Forward Exciting Projects in Spain for 2024 Success

Pan Global's Advancements in the Escacena and Cármenes Projects in Spain

In a recent update, Pan Global Resources Inc. outlined the remarkable progress made during 2024 on its flagship projects, namely Escacena and Cármenes, located in the southern regions of Spain. The company has been focusing on expanding its copper-tin-gold mineralization efforts, marking a series of successful exploration campaigns that are indicating a promising future for operations in this vital mining area.

Key Achievements in 2024

The company reported the successful completion of drilling activities, which revealed strong operational results across three main targets: La Romana, La Romana West, and Cañada Honda. A total of 21 drill holes were executed, extending the copper-tin and silver mineralization at La Romana by over 300 meters to the west, resulting in a total length of 1.5 km, with further potential for expansion still open for exploration.

Recent metallurgical testing also confirmed outstanding recovery rates for both copper and tin, with nearly 88% recovery of copper at a concentrate grade of up to 32.5%, and significant tin concentrate grades of 63.2% with a 64% recovery rate. These cutting-edge results are particularly encouraging, as they mirror construction efficiency and competitiveness with other mining operations.

Efforts have additionally commenced on the highly promising Bravo target, situated just 1 km east of La Romana. Here, surface exploration has identified over 15 significant geophysical and geochemical anomalies prime for future drilling campaigns. The anticipated drilling for these targets is set to restart this week, focusing on five high-priority areas that were marked for further testing.

Tim Moody, Pan Global's President and CEO, commented, "The Iberian pyrite belt hosts multiple copper deposits, suggesting that our identified geophysical anomalies at Escacena could indicate even more copper mineralization. The upcoming 2025 drilling campaign will aim to explore these exciting possibilities further."

Looking to the Future

As Pan Global gears up for 2025, they are also set to begin exploration work in the Cármenes project, situated 55 km north of León, which encompasses 5,653 hectares of land. The Cármenes project hosts historical underground mines that operated between 1860 and the 1930s and are characterized by a rich presence of copper, nickel, cobalt, and gold. Initial exploration will focus on extending known mineralization beneath and around these previous mining sites.

The scope of the 2025 exploration program on both projects will be detailed in subsequent announcements and is anticipated to further solidify Pan Global's position in Spain's competitive mining landscape.

Conclusion

With its commitment to leading-edge exploration methodologies and an impeccable safety record, Pan Global Resources Inc. is firmly positioned to tap into the heart of Spain’s mineral wealth. The clarity of their future production potential underscores their strategic importance in the global copper supply chain—an essential element in advancing towards global electrification and energy transitions.
