Dana Loatman Appointed as the First Executive Director of the Virgil Abloh Foundation
The Virgil Abloh Foundation (VAF), founded by Shannon Abloh and family, has announced Dana Loatman as its inaugural executive director. Dana Loatman's career has been marked by her unwavering advocacy for marginalized communities. Prior to her position at VAF, she served as Chief of Staff for External Affairs at the Obama Foundation, where her work played a pivotal role in the launch and growth of initiatives aimed at empowering youth. She has built strong relationships with major organizations, securing over $100 million in funding through collaborations with prominent brands such as Apple, Nike, and Google. Her breadth of experience extends to internationally recognized entities like World Vision International and the Yunus Youth Initiative, showcasing her dedication to affecting systemic change.
