2025 Smile Challenge Cup: Revitalizing Lives Through Sports
The 2025 Smile Challenge Cup, hosted by Yokohama F. Marinos and several local organizations, is more than just a soccer tournament; it’s a heartfelt initiative designed to support the recovery from the Great East Japan Earthquake. The event, organized by Soaken Global Co., Ltd. along with Yokohama F. Marinos, Phoenix Tourism Co., Ltd., Trajal Connect Co., Ltd., and RELIER SPORTS, will take place over two days—from September 14 to 15, 2025—at J-Village in Fukushima Prefecture. This initiative aims to not only bring joy and smiles back to the local communities but also to provide professional medical and therapeutic support to those impacted by the disaster.
Historical Context
Since the devastating earthquake in 2011, the Egao-Do acupuncture and osteopathic clinic group has remained committed to volunteer work within the affected communities. Through various acts such as providing physical therapy, massages, and daily support, they have lived by the principle, "Everything is for a smile." Their dedication has continued through several disasters, garnering both experience and smiles from those they've helped. This year, as part of the Smile Challenge Cup, they strive to bring even more joy and encouragement to the community, demonstrating the possibilities of therapy and care while contributing to the growth of the industries involved.
