Chappell Roan Joins Fortnite Festival as Season 13 Icon in a Daring Fusion of Styles

Chappell Roan Takes Center Stage at Fortnite Festival

Epic Games, an American company founded by CEO Tim Sweeney in 1991, has announced that Grammy Award-winning artist Chappell Roan will be a new icon at the upcoming Fortnite Festival, set to kick off on February 5, 2024. Known for her unique blend of burlesque, fairytale, and Midwest influences, Chappell is poised to bring a vibrant presence to the festival’s main stage. As a self-proclaimed Fortnite player and fan, Chappell joyfully expressed her wish to be featured in the game during a recent interview, humorously stating, "Please give me a skin, please." Now, that wish is finally coming true!

New Content and Features at the Festival

Chappell will introduce her iconic medieval-themed costume, inspired by her performance of "Good Luck, Babe!" from the 2024 VMAs, known as "Roan of Arc." Additionally, players will also have access to a glamorous outfit called "Chappell Roan." To add extra flair, a trusty companion, the Pink Pony (complete with a cowboy hat), will also be available for players to enjoy.

The Fortnite Festival will feature a stunning medieval castle-themed main stage reminiscent of the designs seen during Chappell's "Visions of Damsels & Other Dangerous Things Tour." Players can anticipate the debut of her new track, "Pink Pony Club," on a personalized jam truck that will also feature remastered hits such as "Good Luck, Babe!", "HOT TO GO!", and "The Giver."

Furthermore, exciting emotes will be introduced, including the "Pink Pony Club" emote, choreographed by Ryan Heffington, and a traversal emote called "Femininomenon," both available in the in-game shop.

To unlock the costume "Chappell Roan," along with accompanying accessories such as the "Pink Pony Star" backpack and the "Midwest Princess" keytar, players can subscribe to either the Season 13 Music Pass "Heartcore" or the Crew subscription.
