The Upcoming Construction Technology Expo 2025 Kanto

Scheduled for November 19 and 20, 2025, the Construction Technology Expo 2025 Kanto will take place at the Sunshine City Exhibition Hall in Ikebukuro, Tokyo. Organized by Nikkan Kensei, the expo promises to be a premier event where more than 200 construction companies and organizations will present their latest technologies and services in collaboration with the Kanto Regional Development Bureau of the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism.

Exciting Exhibits Awaiting Attendees

A wide range of renowned firms, including Obayashi Corporation, Kajima Corporation, Shimizu Corporation, and Taisei Corporation, will exhibit their pioneering technologies, construction methods, products, and services. This year’s theme, “Creating the Future of Construction Together,” aims to highlight not only the advancements in construction technology but also the significance of collaboration in driving the industry forward. Notable exhibits are expected from a diverse assortment of sectors, including IT and manufacturing, demonstrating the multifaceted nature of construction innovations.

Engaging Stage Programs

The expo will feature two stages where multiple presentations and panel discussions will take place. A keynote speech by Senior Engineer Masayoshi Hirose from the Ministry of Land, Infrastructure, Transport and Tourism is set to kick off the event. Additional presentations from the ministry, as well as local governments, are planned to deepen attendees’ understanding of evolving construction technologies. The Construction Consultants Association of Kanto and the Japan Construction Management Association will facilitate captivating panel discussions, offering insights into the latest trends and challenges in the sector.

In a bid to engage families, the expo will host a variety of initiatives designed to showcase the charm of construction. The “Future Complement Plan” will encourage children and their parents to discuss future prospects in the industry. Collaborative projects with MyNavi Student Lounge and Career Navigation will provide students insights into career opportunities in construction. Moreover, the “Cute Civil Engineering Illustration Exhibition” and the “Civil Engineering Photography Exhibition” will exhibit artworks and photographs highlighting civil engineering achievements, aimed at inspiring attendees of all ages.

Attendees can also expect hands-on experiences, such as a mobile application that simulates the operation of hydraulic excavators. Fun gaming experiences, including “Heavy Machine Racing GP,” which utilizes radio-controlled construction vehicles, and a social experience game named “Gokko Land” designed for children, will be available. These attractions promise to engage both adults and children alike, making the expo a family-friendly event.
