Confetti Introduces a Safe and Affordable Ticket Resale Service in Japan

Confetti Resale Service Launch

In a move to enhance the accessibility of entertainment, Longrun Planning Co., Ltd., based in Shinjuku, Tokyo, has introduced the 'Confetti Resale' service. Effective from July 15, this innovative solution aims to bridge the gap between ticket sellers and buyers, ensuring transactions are safe and prices fair.

What is Confetti Resale?

The 'Confetti Resale' is an official ticket resale service that connects individuals looking to sell event tickets with those eager to purchase them. If a Confetti member finds themselves unable to attend a show due to unforeseen circumstances, they can list their tickets for resale. On the flip side, buyers can acquire these tickets at face value, alleviating the concerns often associated with purchasing resale tickets. Additionally, anyone—whether a Confetti member or not—can buy listed tickets, widening the pool of potential buyers.

Key Features of Confetti Resale

1. Safety through Official Channels: The resale process ensures that each ticket listing is pre-approved by Confetti. This means buyers can confidently purchase tickets, knowing that the listing has been validated. The pricing system only allows tickets to be sold at face value, thus eliminating the risk of exorbitant markups often faced in traditional resale markets.

2. Discreet Transactions: Both buyers and sellers can conduct their transactions without revealing sensitive financial information. Payments are processed via Confetti, protecting users' credit card and bank details. Moreover, if any issues occur and a transaction is cancelled, Confetti promises a full refund to the buyer.

3. No Membership Requirement: One of the standout features of this service is that it doesn’t require buyers to register as Confetti members. This opens the door for anyone interested in purchasing tickets, making it easier for sellers to find potential buyers for their tickets.

Eligible Tickets for Resale

Tickets that can be resold through the Confetti Resale Service must have been originally reserved and purchased via the Confetti website. It's important to note that tickets bought through platforms like TIGET, GETTIIS, Ticket Pay, or LivePocket are not eligible for sale through this service.

The Resale Process

The resale process is straightforward for both sellers and buyers:

For Sellers:
1. Register your details and list your ticket (subject to Confetti’s approval).
2. Await confirmation that your ticket is listed for resale.
3. Once sold, ship the ticket promptly upon receiving confirmation.
4. Receive the payment via GMO-PG transfer service.

For Buyers:
1. Search for resale tickets for the event you wish to attend.
2. Purchase your ticket using a credit card.
3. Receive your ticket.
4. Notify Confetti to confirm receipt.
