Upcoming Event: Tokyo Vegan Gourmet Festival 2025

Mark your calendars for April 20, 2025, as Oizumi Factory proudly sets up shop at the Tokyo Vegan Gourmet Festival. Located at Kiba Park in Koto City, Tokyo, this festival offers a vibrant celebration of 100% plant-based cuisine, bringing together food lovers committed to enjoying delicious meals without animal-derived ingredients.

What to Expect at the Festival

The Tokyo Vegan Gourmet Festival promises to captivate attendees with its array of culinary delights, focusing on vegan and plant-based offerings. This year, Oizumi Factory will introduce some exciting new products alongside its returning favorites. Guests can look forward to tasting the original fermented sparkling tea, _SHIP KOMBUCHA, which received rave reviews last year, as well as delicious cinnamon rolls and a brand-new selection of plant-based sandwiches, ready-to-eat soups, and a unique fermented veggie keema curry bento.

Featured Products from Oizumi Factory

1. _SHIP KOMBUCHA
Price: 600 JPY (tax included)
- A unique fermented beverage made from tea, sugar, and a blend of cooperative bacteria and yeast (SCOBY), _SHIP KOMBUCHA is crafted using a meticulous non-heating brewing process. As Japan's only kombucha brewery adhering to this method, it fiercely guards quality from brewing through bottling. In 2023, it became the first kombucha in Japan to earn organic JAS certification, and stood out at international competitions, winning awards for all four of its flavors. At the festival, attendees can choose from flavors like ORIGINAL, YUZU HEADS, SHISO FUTURE, and HOP BREEZE in colorful, eye-catching bottles.

2. The Cinnamon Roll
Price: 500 JPY (tax included)
- This popular cinnamon roll, made from dough fermented with natural yeast derived from peach blossoms blooming at Oizumi's premises, is a plant-based treat that previously sold out during the festival. Filled with rich cinnamon powder and lightly sweetened with coarse sugar, each piece is drizzled with a house-made icing using soy milk, ensuring a guilt-free indulgence. Handcrafted in limited quantities, these rolls promise a delightful, aromatic experience.

3. TUNAKADO (Plant-Based Sandwich)
Price: 1,200 JPY (tax included)
- Exclusively featured from the BROOKS GREENLIT CAFE which opened in Minami Aoyama last December, the TUNAKADO combines artisanal sourdough bread from BROD with organic avocado, tomato, and homemade plant-based mayonnaise mixed with 'omni-tuna'. This sandwich is substantial and satisfying— a true highlight for festival-goers!

4. Ready-to-Eat Soups & Fermented Veggie Keema Curry Bento
Price: 500 JPY (for each flavor) / 1,200 JPY for bento (tax included)
- Trying their hand for the first time at plant-based ready-to-eat soups, Oizumi Factory has created flavors that strictly utilize organic vegetables without additives, enhancing the essence of freshness using fermented ingredients like sake lees and salt koji. Available flavors include Pumpkin and Miso and Beets, Sweet Potato, and Salt Koji soups.
- Additionally, there will be a special Fermented Veggie Keema Curry Bento, crafted from organic vegetables sautéed with garlic and ginger, combined with plant-based meat and seasoned with a selection of five spices and salt koji, suitable even for children.
