TCL CSOT Unveils Revolutionary Mobile Display Innovations at MWC 2025

TCL CSOT's Groundbreaking Innovations at MWC 2025

TCL CSOT, a global leader in display technology for over 15 years, showcased a variety of pioneering mobile display innovations at the Mobile World Congress (MWC) 2025 in Barcelona. This event marks an important milestone for the company as it introduces new displays that focus on optimal visual experiences, user health, sustainability, and future technological possibilities.

The APEX Brand and Its Vision

The newly launched TCL CSOT APEX brand emphasizes the importance of four key pillars: providing delightful viewing experiences, ensuring reliable eye health, promoting sustainability and low carbon emissions, and fostering limitless imagination for the future. Jun Zhao, CEO of TCL CSOT, emphasized the necessity of leading innovation to offer consumers the best possible visual experiences, linking these advancements closely to the company’s mission.

Introducing the World’s First Under-Panel Camera OLED Display

Among the standout developments is the world's first 14-inch OLED display featuring an under-panel camera—the PureSight Pro 4K screen. This innovative design eliminates the need for notches or cuts around the webcam, allowing for a more immersive viewing experience while users work or play. The enormous display boasts a remarkable 98% screen-to-body ratio, 4K resolution, and a refresh rate of 120 Hz, ensuring exceptional color accuracy throughout a professional-grade spectrum. This product represents TCL CSOT's debut application of its FMM OLED technology to medium-sized screens.

Low Power Consumption Innovations

TCL CSOT also unveiled its first low-power, low-driver display measuring 6.36 inches. Designed expressly to produce stunning visuals without rapidly depleting mobile device batteries, its advanced multi-frequency partitioning technology divides the screen into three distinct sections, each capable of supporting different refresh rates. This, combined with innovative CMOS circuit design, results in a total IC power consumption reduction of up to 31%—a game-changer for portable devices.

Eye Protection Technology

In the push for user-friendly technology, TCL CSOT showcased a 6.67-inch WQHD eye protection display featuring circularly polarized light technology. This display reduces glare, enhances contrast, and improves visibility even in bright sunlight or while wearing sunglasses. Importantly, it also implements global DC dimming technology, significantly reducing screen flickering and minimizing eye strain.

Multi-Partition OLED Technology

Further distinguishing itself, TCL CSOT presented the first OLED display with multi-frequency partitions, measuring 6.73 inches. This technology permits three separate regions to operate simultaneously, reducing power consumption of the IC controller by up to 20%. With a stunning 96% screen-to-body ratio, this ultra-bright display reaches an astonishing peak brightness of 3200 nits and utilizes 1920 Hz PWM dimming for a flicker-free experience. The device has already been integrated into the newly announced Xiaomi 15 Pro smartphone.

Biomechanical Eye-Care Tablet

Additionally, the 12.1-inch biomimetic tablet display mirrors the eye structure of a moth, enhancing clarity and visual cleanliness through anti-reflective, anti-fingerprint, and antimicrobial features. This innovative approach enables a natural light representation that provides users with clarity even in bright environments, boasting a low blue light emission level of less than 20% to alleviate visual fatigue during extended sessions.

AI-Driven Display Technology

The world's first 13-inch tablet equipped with a 4K 144 Hz AI display boasts vivid colors and sharp detail. Its multi-zone frequency partitioning technology utilizes advanced AI algorithms to dynamically balance frequency sharing to optimize power consumption while ensuring smooth video performance, leading to a 21% reduction in energy usage compared to traditional displays. With a touch response rate of 240 Hz or higher, users benefit from an incredibly responsive writing experience with styluses.
