From May 12 to 14, 2026, the WECARS Kagoshima branch hosted two third-year students from Tanegashima Junior High School for a three-day program designed to provide insights into the automotive industry.

Day 1: Learning the Basics

The first day was dedicated to understanding fundamental operations within the dealership. The students participated in tasks such as handling customer registrations and managing reception duties. They also delved into the basics of car mechanics, learning about the structure and elements that constitute a vehicle. Day 2: Practical Evaluation and Sales Training

As the program progressed, the second day focused on more advanced topics, specifically vehicle appraisal and sales negotiations. Under the guidance of WECARS employees, the students practiced assessing vehicles, enhancing their knowledge of market values and pricing strategies. Moreover, they engaged in mock sales discussions, allowing them to apply theoretical knowledge in a practical context, whilst also developing communication skills crucial for any sales role.

Day 3: Compliance and Operations

The final day involved a compliance training session, emphasizing the importance of regulations in the automotive industry. The students learned about legal and ethical considerations in vehicle sales and service. Afterward, they participated in operational tasks including car washing and the acceptance of inventory, working alongside seasoned professionals. This collaborative experience not only equipped them with technical skills but also offered a glimpse into the daily operations of a car dealership.
