This year, the event successfully attracted 132,657 visitors, surpassing last year's number of 125,362. Organized by Dwango Co., Ltd., this year's theme was 'Mazaro,' which aimed to foster connections among users with shared interests through a myriad of engaging activities and events.

One of the standout features of the event was the introduction of the 'Super Neyagura,' a vibrant and interactive space where attendees could dance freely to popular Vocaloid tracks and anime songs as part of the 'Super Niconico Bon Odori' initiative. The Neyagura was beautifully decorated with red and white lanterns, neon blue and pink lights, and a mirrored ball, creating an atmosphere that resonated with excitement and anticipation. Participants were thrilled to dance to beloved tracks, with the DJ elevating the atmosphere as users exclaimed, 'I can't believe I can dance at Niconico Chokaigi!'
