Bracco Imaging Earns EcoVadis Platinum Medal for Global Sustainability

In a remarkable achievement, Bracco Imaging has been honored with a platinum medal by EcoVadis, a globally recognized assessment platform for corporate sustainability. This award is a testament to Bracco Imaging's commitment to environmental and social responsibility, positioning the company amongst the elite 1% of organizations evaluated around the world for their sustainable business practices.

Bracco Imaging, a leading entity in the field of diagnostic imaging, received an impressive score of 83 out of 100 in its EcoVadis evaluation. Notably, the company excelled in the Environmental category, achieving a score of 91. This recognition underscores the high standards Bracco has set in four critical areas of sustainability: environment, labor and human rights, ethics, and sustainable procurement. These dimensions are supported by significant strategic investments aimed at fostering responsible growth and long-term impact.

Fulvio Renoldi Bracco, Vice President and CEO of Bracco Imaging, remarked, "This recognition confirms the progress we have made in embedding sustainability into our operations. After earning two consecutive gold medals, receiving the platinum medal this year holds special significance. We take pride in what this represents for our company culture and workforce. This award reflects the collective commitment of Bracco teams. We view sustainability as a driver of innovation and long-term value, and this milestone inspires us to strive even further."

Bracco's sustainability strategy is intricately woven into its business model and is supported by internationally recognized standards, including ISO 14001 (environmental management), ISO 50001 (energy management), and ISO 45001 (health and safety). The company has adopted a comprehensive approach to environmental and social governance, addressing various aspects such as renewable energy, waste reduction, employee wellness, product safety, and ethical supply chains.

For nearly three decades, Bracco has been publishing an environmental report, which has evolved into a comprehensive sustainability report aligned with global ESG frameworks. The upcoming 2024 edition will feature clear metrics, measurable outcomes, and forward-looking objectives across all dimensions of sustainability. This report will be part of a global communication campaign aimed at engaging both internal and external stakeholders, further solidifying Bracco's position as a responsible and forward-thinking healthcare company.

"This accomplishment is the result of the hard work of every member of our global team," adds Fulvio Renoldi Bracco.
