Discover BUSO BREWERY: A New Era of Craft Beer and Food Pairings

BUSO BREWERY: A Culinary and Brewing Evolution

Nestled in the heart of Machida, the BUSO BREWERY is taking the craft beer scene to new heights with its recently revamped menu and community-focused initiatives. This brewery is part of Japan's first collaborative project among ten local food and beverage establishments, leveraging the “Local 10,000 Project” by the Ministry of Internal Affairs and Communications to enhance regional culinary culture. Using local ingredients, including hops and barley from Machida, BUSO BREWERY aims to elevate the local atmosphere and contribute to the city's development.

Set to officially open its doors in December 2024 at the former Carillon Square located near the Odakyu Machida Station, BUSO BREWERY is a significant step towards revitalizing the Buso area in Tokyo. As part of its ongoing efforts, the brewery has expanded its offerings while also exploring contributions to local specialty products for hometown tax incentives.

A Fresh New Menu

Effective April 1, 2026, BUSO BREWERY will unveil an entirely renewed food menu. Their guiding principle, “Making the Brewery Cool and Accessible,” incorporates a wide variety of local ingredients while meticulously pairing dishes with their signature craft beers. Guests will discover unique food experiences that highlight local flavors alongside innovative culinary creations.

The new menu features a rich array of dishes made with carefully selected local products through collaborations with area producers. Diners can enjoy everything from simple plates that showcase the natural flavors of the ingredients, to imaginative creations that break free from traditional culinary boundaries.

Their lunch offerings have also received a colorful overhaul, now accompanied by salads, appetizers, and soups for a vibrant plate presentation. Alongside their much-loved curry, a new artisanal pasta has been introduced to meet diverse customer preferences, with lunch starting at just 1,408 yen.

Decadent Desserts and Craft Cocktails

In addition to the delightful dishes, BUSO BREWERY has expanded its dessert menu with three original creations that incorporate their renowned craft beer, each priced at 638 yen. This move further establishes the brewery as an approachable venue for casual café-style visits.

Furthermore, the drink selection has seen substantial enhancements, including special cocktails priced at 638 yen. Beyond craft beer, the menu now includes a variety of unique local spirits and original cocktails that can only be experienced at this brewery, embodying its mission of being “more than just a beer brewery.”

Introducing New Course Options

To accompany the revamped menu, BUSO BREWERY has introduced attractive lunch and dinner courses, starting from a casual dinner course at 3,080 yen. These courses, designed to showcase popular menu items, are available for groups of two or more, making them perfect for gatherings and celebrations. Patrons are encouraged to enjoy these offerings paired with the rich flavors of BUSO BREWERY's craft beer for an unforgettable dining experience.

A Commitment to the Community

BUSO BREWERY continues to serve as a rooted establishment within the community, dedicated to promoting local attractions while pushing the boundaries of possibilities in food and beer. With the recent menu overhaul, they strive to provide a space that encourages repeat visits from patrons.
