SJTU Antai Achieves 3rd Place in Global Masters in Management Ranking 2026

SJTU Antai Excels in 2026 Financial Times Ranking

The release of the 2026 Financial Times Global Top 100 Masters in Management (MiM) ranking on September 7 has brought remarkable recognition to the Antai College of Economics and Management (ACEM) at Shanghai Jiao Tong University (SJTU). Securing the 3rd place globally marks a significant milestone for Antai, improving from last year's 6th position and 5th in 2024.

According to the ranking's sub-indicators, Antai College demonstrated outstanding performance in various critical areas. The college ranked first globally in Employment Rate, second in Value for Money, third in both Career Progress and Career Service, and fourth in Alumni Network. Furthermore, it achieved seventh place in Salary Increase and fourteenth in Weighted Salary.

Dean Chen Fangruo attributed this extraordinary achievement to the college's persistent commitment to interdisciplinary innovation, comprehensive industry research, career development, and robust alumni network support. “Antai is at a pivotal point in redefining business education for the artificial intelligence era,” he stated.

Earlier this year in July, SJTU Antai released the Antai Declaration on Cultivating Business Talent in the AI Age, which emphasizes an educational shift from merely delivering predefined solutions to engaging students in tackling real-world problems and fostering critical thinking. The revised curriculum intends to cultivate business professionals capable of innovative thinking while embracing social responsibility — thereby positioning Antai as a leader in global business education reform.

The influence of the MiM program continues to grow internationally. The college is dedicated to refining its educational pathways to produce versatile and innovative talents. This commitment is framed by a multi-dimensional approach, intertwining masters' and doctoral curricula and promoting cross-disciplinary elective choices.

Students benefit from a rich theoretical foundation, complemented by updated and relevant industry content. Further, high-quality resources across disciplines such as management, systems science, AI, economics, and data analytics are integrated into the program, creating a comprehensive learning ecosystem for students.

One of the defining features of the program is its dual-mentor system, which pairs students with both an academic and a career mentor. By leveraging a vast global alumni network and a multidimensional career development service matrix that includes diverse employer partnerships, SJTU Antai systematically constructs an advantageous environment for student success.

With these achievements, Antai College of Economics and Management has not only positioned itself as a frontrunner in educational excellence but has also demonstrated its potential as a transformative force in business education worldwide, ready to nurture the business leaders of the future.

Through its innovative approaches to education and career readiness, SJTU Antai is carving a path toward a future where business acumen meets the complexities of an AI-driven landscape, ensuring its graduates are well-equipped for the challenges ahead in the global market.
