Jazz Pharmaceuticals Showcases Advances in Neuro-Oncology Research at SNO Conference 2026

Jazz Pharmaceuticals plc is set to unveil pivotal research findings at the 2026 Society for Neuro-Oncology (SNO) Annual Meeting, scheduled for November 12-15 in Philadelphia. The focus of their presentations will be on their neuro-oncology portfolio, showcasing ongoing clinical and preclinical studies that aim to address the urgent medical needs in the field of brain cancer treatment.

Key Highlights of the Research

One of the most noteworthy aspects of Jazz Pharmaceuticals' presentation will be the progress on the Phase 3 ACTION trial studying Modeyso® (dordaviprone), a treatment for newly diagnosed H3 K27M-mutant diffuse glioma. This trial is particularly significant as it aims to assess the efficacy of dordaviprone compared to placebo and different doses of the drug after patients have undergone standard frontline radiotherapy. The primary focus of the study is on overall survival, providing essential insights on how to optimize treatment outcomes for these patients.

Additionally, the company will introduce a Phase 2 clinical trial for JZP3507 (formerly known as ONC206), targeting recurrent meningioma, which stands as the most common primary brain tumor in adults. This dual-targeted investigational therapy targets the mitochondrial protease ClpP while also acting as an antagonist of the G protein-coupled receptor DRD2. An oral presentation will detail preclinical findings showcasing the impressive anti-cancer activity exhibited by JZP3507 in H3 G34-mutant glioma. The data indicates that JZP3507 has demonstrated remarkable potency in both cell lines and patient-derived cells, synergistically exhibiting a ClpP-dependent mechanism for its anti-cancer efficacy.

Statements from Leadership

Dr. Josh Allen, Chief Scientific Officer of Oncology at Jazz Pharmaceuticals, underscored the importance of the data being presented at SNO, highlighting the company’s unwavering commitment to scientific advancement and innovation in the therapeutic space.
