SANY Group's Spectacular Showcase at bauma 2025
The recently concluded bauma 2025 in Munich marked a significant event in the construction machinery industry, showcasing innovations from around the globe. SANY Group, in collaboration with Putzmeister, presented a stunning display of cutting-edge technologies under the theme "The World of Efficiency, Your Partner to Create the Best." Covering an impressive area of 5256 m², SANY's booth attracted considerable attention, drawing in over 200 potential clients with projected orders totaling nearly 3 billion yuan (approximately 360.3 million euros).
Highlighting Innovation and Sustainability
During this year's exhibition, SANY unveiled 35 flagship products, including excavators, telehandlers, wheel loaders, cranes, forklifts, and road machinery. Notably, 31 of these products received CE compliance certification, with 15 making their global market debut and 11 being electric-powered. This strong commitment to sustainability and innovation reflects SANY's dedication to addressing modern challenges in the industry.
Among the standout products is the
SCC2000A-EV, SANY's largest electric crawler crane. Equipped with a CATL battery boasting a capacity of 422 kWh, this machine can operate for up to 9 hours on a single charge. With a powerful 234 kW engine, it meets demanding tasks effortlessly, featuring an 86 m main boom, a 30 m jib, and a maximum lift of 200 tons. This crane adheres to Europe's transportation regulations and holds CE certification.
Another noteworthy introduction is the
STR50E, the industry's first 5-ton electric roller. With a 60 kWh battery, it allows for over 7 hours of continuous operation, can connect to shared charging stations, and fully charges in just 60 minutes. The liquid-cooled battery supports a temperature range of -20°C to +50°C, ensuring reliability and longevity of over 2000 working hours across 2000 charging cycles, equating to roughly 30 years of use.
The flagship
SY215E electric excavator features a CATL battery of the same capacity and a 150 kW motor, providing 6-8 hours of uninterrupted work under European compliant conditions. Its battery seamlessly connects to CCS2 chargers, reaching full capacity in just 1.5 hours, while its 360-degree AI cameras enhance safety by detecting nearby personnel.
SANY’s
STH625E compact telehandler, tailored for small spaces in the European market, combines compactness with impressive capability. Despite its width of only 1.85 m and height of 1.92 m, it operates effectively with a 34 kWh battery, ensuring 8 hours of performance at 20 km/h.
Emphasis on Digital Technologies
SANY's booth also showcased a significant interest in digital technologies, particularly the
MySANY platform and the
Mechlink Intelligent Excavation System. Designed for large excavators operating under challenging conditions, the Mechlink system employs ultra-low latency 5G connectivity to facilitate safe and efficient excavation work meeting NVQ level 2 qualifications.
A live demonstration featured remote control of an excavator located in Huzhou, China, capturing the attention of over 200 participants and generating considerable enthusiasm.
Strengthening SANY's European Presence
SANY's journey into the European market began in 2009 in Bedburg, Germany. Since then, the company has developed a comprehensive ecosystem that encompasses R&D, production, marketing, and after-sales service across Europe. With 150 distribution points, 120 sales specialists, 70 service vehicles, and spare parts valued at 20 million euros, SANY consistently exceeds customer expectations while adhering to market demands for cleanliness, environmental protection, and sustainability.
