The Mobile World Congress (MWC) Barcelona 2025 is the premier global event in the mobile technology industry, taking place from March 3 to 6 in Barcelona, Spain. As a key player, Viettel Group stands out by displaying a remarkable array of 22 innovative products developed in Vietnam, emphasizing the country’s growing prowess in the tech landscape. This event gathers technology giants like Samsung, Qualcomm, and Huawei, alongside over 200 national representatives eager to explore partnerships and new opportunities.

Viettel’s Legacy at MWC

Viettel has been a consistent participant at MWC for eight consecutive years, establishing itself as the sole representative of Vietnam on this prestigious international stage. According to Mr. Tao Duc Thang, CEO of Viettel, the company proudly presents its technological innovations to thousands of industry leaders and government representatives at the event. "Each MWC represents an honor and a driving force for us to perpetually innovate,” he stated. The congress not only allows Viettel to showcase its advancements but also provides insights for future developments within Vietnam through strategic partnerships. During MWC Barcelona 2025, Viettel plans to finalize key cooperation agreements with major global partners including TikTok, Visa, and China Telecom Global.

With an increase of five new innovations since the previous event, this year's demonstration is the most comprehensive yet. The two-story exhibition area is centered around the theme of "Inventing new technologies for sustainable development," and it highlights solutions aimed at tackling global challenges.

1. Network Infrastructure: This includes a comprehensive 5G ecosystem featuring 5G Private, 5G ORAN, and 5G Core technologies. Additionally, Viettel showcases semiconductor chips designed in-house, like RF-SoC, security chips, and advanced logistics robots.
2. Digital Platforms: Viettel presents its API services for mobile networks, Content Delivery Networks (CDN), data center infrastructure management, next-generation cybersecurity platforms, and intelligent traffic management solutions.
3. Intelligent Applications: Innovations include AI-powered virtual assistants, interactive video call solutions (meCall), audiobook services (Mydio), and an advanced interactive television platform, TV360.
