TIC Holding Schweiz AG Appoints Alessandro Capone as CEO to Lead Growth Strategy

Alessandro Capone Takes the Helm as CEO of TIC Holding Schweiz AG

BAAR, Switzerland – December 4, 2025 – In a significant corporate move, TIC Holding Schweiz AG has appointed Alessandro Capone as Chief Executive Officer (CEO), effective immediately. This follows the company's ambitious strategy aimed at consolidating its position as a leading independent provider of Testing, Inspection, and Certification (TIC) services in Switzerland. Established in 2024 as an acquisition holding, TIC Holding is backed by Winterberg Advisory GmbH and major investor Yana Partners, who are represented on its board.

Alessandro Capone, a Swiss citizen, is not new to the TIC sector. In 2005, he co-founded Metron Measurement SA with his father, Angelo, in Quartino, located in the canton of Ticino. Under his leadership, Metron has grown significantly, especially after receiving its first accreditation from the Swiss Accreditation Service (SCS) for dimensional metrology. Over the last decade, the laboratory has expanded its clientele and network while acquiring additional accreditations, solidifying its reputation in Switzerland.

By the end of 2024, the Capone family transitioned Metron Measurement SA into TIC Holding Schweiz AG, maintaining stakes in the newly formed company. Following this integration, Capone has been invited to lead TIC Holding, where he will coordinate the management teams and facilitate the integration process across various operational units. He will hold this new role alongside his position as CEO of Metron Measurement SA, working closely with board members and investors.

Fabian Kröher, President of the Board at TIC Holding, expressed confidence in Capone's capabilities, stating, “For us, Alessandro is the ideal candidate. He brings over two decades of experience in developing testing laboratories and working with accreditation bodies, clients, and teams. Metron serves as a prime example of a successful Ticinese firm recognized nationally for its dynamism, continuous growth, and customer-oriented culture. We are excited to have him lead TIC Holding and its ambitious acquisition and integration strategy.”

This strategic appointment comes at a pivotal time for TIC Holding Schweiz AG, which has expanded its investor base and recently raised CHF 35 million in equity to fuel its growth. Capone expressed enthusiasm for the challenge ahead: “We have a unique opportunity to build a Swiss market leader and introduce innovative solutions, particularly in terms of digitalization, benefiting the entire sector. Our goal is to remain a trusted partner for the Swiss industry, ensuring the highest standards of quality, reliability, and tailored services for each client.”

Currently, the group is engaged in several acquisition processes and plans to finalize new operations by the year's end. TIC Holding Schweiz AG is on a mission to become one of Switzerland's leading groups by placing the customer at the center of its activities. The company emphasizes quality, excellence, and diversity while actively seeking small and medium-sized enterprises (SMEs) in the TIC field, especially in succession scenarios. By fostering an entrepreneurial culture and incorporating the latest technologies across all functions, TIC Holding aims for above-average growth and returns.
