Tokyo Coffee Festival 2025 Winter: A Celebration of Coffee Culture
The NPO Farmers Market Association is set to host the Tokyo Coffee Festival 2025 Winter on December 13 and 14 at the Farmers Market in Aoyama, Tokyo. This year's festival promises to be a vibrant gathering of coffee enthusiasts, featuring around 40 coffee shops from both Japan and abroad, showcasing their unique brews and blend cultures.
From coffee tastings to exclusive merchandise, attendees will have the chance to explore a diverse array of content and activities. A key highlight this year is the commemorative 10th anniversary original mini mug, available for purchase along with tasting tickets. The festival will also include live jazz performances, artisanal baked goods, and feature booths for hands-on experiences including an espresso machine demo and a roasting workshop with fresh coffee beans.
An Insight into the Festival's Highlights
Commemorative Mini Mug
To celebrate the festival's 10th anniversary, a special mini mug themed around the event will be created in collaboration with the lifestyle brand KINTO. Each mug is distinctive, showcasing unique glaze patterns, making it a perfect keepsake of this milestone.
Original Zine: "Coffee is the Symphony"
The festival will also launch its fifth original zine, featuring interviews with past participants and influential players in the coffee scene. This edition discusses the evolution of coffee culture, overcoming challenges, and the passion that drives the coffee community. Limited copies will be available, and they will be included with pre-purchased tickets.
Ticket Benefits
Special pre-sale tickets that include the 10th-anniversary mini mug, the original zine, and tasting tickets will be available for purchase at a discounted rate compared to on-the-day prices. This year, the event has set aside a specific amount of each item to ensure that early bird attendees get their memento.
A Diverse Line-Up of Exhibitors
Approximately 40 coffee shops will participate, including first-time appearances from various local and international brands. Notably, representatives from companies like Mood Coffee & Espresso, Sloth Coffee Roasters, and numerous others will display their exceptional brews.
Unique Coffee Experiences
Apart from coffee tastings, attendees can also experience delicious plant-based milk alternatives, especially the newly launched KOJI BARISTA EDITION. Crafted to complement the intricate flavors of specialty coffee, this milk offers a unique creamy texture and natural sweetness that doesn’t overpower the coffee's flavor.
Tasting Booths and Workshops
Festival-goers will enjoy side-by-side comparisons of coffee brewed with water filtered through the innovative TREVINO® branch and regular tap water. This hands-on experience will shed light on the significance of water quality in coffee brewing. Additionally, learn about the roasting process in workshops facilitated by Northern Commercial and experience operating espresso machines with ROSTRO.
Community and Collaboration
In continuation of creating a rich coffee culture, this year's festival emphasizes community engagement. Companies like YETTU and ZEF Coffee Arts will promote coffee’s diverse landscape and innovations in the field through engaging presentations.
Attendees are encouraged to take part in discussions on coffee production, brewing techniques, and sustainability efforts that shape today’s coffee culture. With a plethora of events lined up, the Tokyo Coffee Festival 2025 Winter promises an enriching experience for both coffee aficionados and casual drinkers alike.
