This fall, Japan Race Promotion (JRP), known for organizing the prestigious Super Formula racing series, is excited to announce the first-ever
Data Scientist Training Program to be held in Tokyo, scheduled for
October 7, 2025. This program aims to train data scientists capable of thriving in various industries, by leveraging unique, real-time data from motorsport.
Purpose and Target Audience
The program’s primary goal is to equip participants with practical knowledge on how to advance in data science, catering to a diverse audience including:
- - Individuals involved in corporate marketing who wish to utilize data.
- - Those possessing large data sets looking for effective usage strategies.
- - Aspiring data scientists and more.
Program Details
- - Date: October 7, 2025 (Tuesday), from 8:00 AM to 5:30 PM
- - Location: City Circuit Tokyo Bay (1-3-12 Aomi, Koto-ku, Tokyo)
- - Cost: ¥85,000 (tax inclusive), which covers both training materials and an exciting electric kart experience.
- - Capacity: Limited to 40 participants, on a first-come, first-served basis. Note that if registrations drop below 12 participants, the training will be canceled with full refunds.

Introduction of the Instructor
Hiroshi Nishiuchi
A prominent statistician born in 1981, he graduated from the University of Tokyo with a focus on biostatistics. He has extensive experience as an assistant professor and has been involved in numerous data utilization projects between corporations and government. In November 2024, he founded Soujou Data Corporation. His popular publications include the bestselling
“Statistics: The Ultimate Discipline” series, exceeding 520,000 copies, alongside
“Statistics Will Save Japan”.

The City Circuit Tokyo Bay is located in the former Palette Town area and is the only motorsport circuit within Tokyo's 23 wards. The facility provides authentic urban racing experiences using specially developed electric racing karts and simulators, encompassing both indoor and outdoor racing tracks and VR e-Motorsports experiences.
