The much-anticipated Recon Tour made its grand return this past weekend in Longview, Texas, and it did not disappoint! Monster Energy's very own Bryce Tryon emerged victorious in the Pro Men's division, capturing the top spot amidst fierce competition. This event marked the first stop in a revamped series aimed at promoting BMX progression, and Tryon, a 24-year-old talent hailing from Lodi, California, made sure to leave a lasting impression.

Alongside Tryon's triumph, fellow Monster Army riders Colin Akerman and Remy Reynolds clinched second and third places respectively, completing a clean sweep of the podium for the Monster squad. This impressive outcome is a testament to the skill and dedication of the team as they continue to dominate the BMX scene.

In the women's category, 16-year-old Saige Thunstrom from Menifee, California, showcased her immense potential by taking home first place in her debut at the Pro Women's contest. The young athlete demonstrated remarkable skills, executing eye-catching tricks such as a truck driver on the box and a one-handed tabletop on the quarter pipe, proving that she is a force to be reckoned with in the world of BMX.

The Return of the Recon Tour



The Recon Tour, having taken a decade-long hiatus, returned to the action at Dodson Action Sports Park, providing a platform for rising amateur riders to shine while allowing professionals to earn crucial ranking points in the UCI system. The atmosphere was electric, with fans eagerly cheering on their favorite athletes as they took on the challenging course designed for high-adrenaline performances.

In the Pro Men's Final, Bryce Tryon impressed the crowd with his speed and technique. His winning run featured a stunning 540 flair, a backflip barspin to no-hander, and a massive one-footed tabletop. These highlights not only demonstrated his technical prowess but also his years of experience in the sport, as he began his journey on the original Recon Tour 10 years ago.
