The 11th RA Summit 2026: Connecting and Shaping Futures
On February 12, 2026, Kyoritsu Maintenance, a company partnered with around 1,300 educational institutions nationwide to manage student dormitories, held the 11th RA Summit 2026 in Kanda Square, Tokyo. This event was dedicated to showcasing the diverse activities and achievements of Resident Assistants (RAs) living in 66 dormitories across 61 schools.
Celebration of Resident Life
During the annual centerpiece of the event, the "Representative Dormitory Presentation,” three dormitories were selected to share their yearly accomplishments. For instance, the presentation from Musashino Art University’s student dormitory centered around their theme "Always Keep the Dormitory Moving.” They emphasized their creative approach to enhancing student engagement through unique promotional posters that drew in residents. Also notable was the presentation from Musashino Art University's second dormitory. They shared their successes in hosting engagement-driven events with a focus on inclusivity, ensuring no resident felt left out, despite the busy student life.
Ryukoku Student Home also presented their findings from collaborative events, emphasizing the importance of fostering communication among dormitories by recreating their living spaces in a virtual realm. This innovative approach allows residents to engage with dormitory guidelines and features remotely, opening new avenues for connectivity and interaction.
New Horizons in Resident Engagement
In a first for the summit, the "RA Koshien" allowed RAs from independently managed student dormitories across various universities to share their initiatives and challenges they face, presenting solutions to common issues. This segment further underscored the profound community-building impact of RA programs.
The event also featured the popular "Domi-Talk" segment, where three successful alumni RAs recounted how their experiences as student leaders have shaped their professional lives. This insightful dialogue provided current RAs with valuable perspectives on the real-world applications of their experiences.
Partnering for Progress
Kyoritsu Maintenance aims to enhance student living experiences by expanding their RA program. Through these initiatives, they are committed to creating student dormitories that serve as platforms for diverse experiences.
Session Highlights

Poster Session
