Arcfield Achieves CMMC Level 2 Certification, Enhancing Cybersecurity Standards

Arcfield Achieves CMMC Level 2 Certification

Arcfield, a prominent provider of government services and mission support, proudly announced its successful attainment of the Cybersecurity Maturity Model Certification (CMMC) Level 2. This significant milestone, revealed on May 22, 2025, highlights Arcfield's ongoing commitment to cybersecurity excellence, ensuring that its systems and processes are well-equipped to support critical national missions.

The path to certification involved a rigorous evaluation process under the Joint Surveillance Voluntary Assessment Program (JSVAP). This proactive approach allowed Arcfield to undergo a comprehensive review of its cybersecurity policies, practices, and documentation. Over the week-long assessment, the Arcfield security and IT teams participated in interviews and demonstrations, showcasing the robustness of their security measures.

Impressively, Arcfield achieved a perfect score of 110 on the JSVAP assessment, with no discrepancies identified. This flawless performance resulted in earning a Defense Industrial Base Cybersecurity Assessment Center (DIBCAC) High certificate, marking its readiness for the CMMC Level 2 standards, as mandated in the recent regulatory guidelines.

Kevin Kelly, the chairman and CEO of Arcfield, emphasized the importance of robust cybersecurity practices in support of national missions. He stated, "The significance of the missions we support requires a failsafe infrastructure that can stand up to even the most sophisticated adversaries. Since our inception, we have been designing our systems, processes, and policies with CMMC in mind, and our perfect score rating is a reflection of our success. We are proud to participate in the voluntary assessment and safeguard our ability to deliver unwavering support to our mission partners."

The JSVAP program allows authorized CMMC 3rd Party Assessment Organizations (C3PAO) to assess organizations within the Defense Industrial Base (DIB) that have implemented National Institute of Standards and Technology (NIST) 800-171 practices. Arcfield's assessment was conducted collaboratively by Redspin, a C3PAO, alongside DIBCAC.

"Arcfield's journey has been remarkable," noted Brian McManamon, the president of Redspin. "The perfect score they received stands as a testament to Arcfield's steadfast commitment to cybersecurity standards, and we at Redspin are honored to have been chosen as their C3PAO."

As an early adopter in the CMMC certification process, Arcfield has integrated Level 2 processes across its operations since concluding its JSVAP assessment in September 2023. This proactive stance reinforces Arcfield's position as a trusted partner in delivering vital mission support services not only to government entities but also to allied forces.
