Experience the Buzz of March Madness with Customized Apparel from Campus Ink

Campus Ink: Transforming March Madness Apparel with Customization

Campus Ink, led by CEO Steven Farag, is making waves in the college sports apparel market, particularly during the high-energy periods of events like the Big Ten Tournament and March Madness. Since the launch of the NIL Store in 2021, the company has secured licensing agreements with over 160 colleges and universities, as well as more than 30,000 individual athletes. Backed by notable investor Mark Cuban, Farag’s expertise in this niche has driven innovation in custom T-shirt and accessory production on-demand, particularly at large sports events.

Farag's approach utilizes a specially designed Roland DG direct-to-film (DTF) printer that enables real-time customization at venues. Campus Ink has established a mobile operation, allowing them to tow a trailer equipped with printing technology to tournament locations, where they can set up and create apparel customized for fans and athletes on-site. This hands-on approach not only provides fans with unique merchandise but also transforms the shopping experience into an engaging event.

The Dynamic World of On-Demand Apparel

During the recent Big Ten Tournament, Campus Ink staff worked relentlessly, producing thousands of custom garments. As they shift their focus toward March Madness, which includes high-stakes matchups at Lucas Oil Stadium in Indianapolis and the Women’s Final Four in Phoenix, Arizona, their operations will expand to meet even greater demand.

Farag notes that merchandise is becoming an interactive experience. “How something’s made is just part of that experience,” he explains.
