In a significant development for the renewable energy sector, Sungrow Power Supply Co., Ltd., a leading global supplier of inverter and Energy Storage Systems (ESS), has announced a strategic distribution agreement with PM Service S.p.A., one of Italy's key players in renewable energy solutions. This partnership entails the procurement and delivery of 100 units of Sungrow’s innovative PowerStack Energy Storage System throughout the year 2025, marking a pivotal moment in the company's expansion within the Italian market.

PowerStack: A Cutting-Edge Energy Storage Solution

The PowerStack is designed for commercial and industrial applications, showcasing Sungrow's commitment to providing high-performance and sustainable energy solutions tailored to specific market needs. Meng Yang, Head of Distribution for Europe at Sungrow, expressed enthusiasm about the partnership, stating, "We are thrilled to partner with PM Service, a company that shares our vision for a cleaner energy future. Delivered as the latest model, the PowerStack 255CS, this energy storage solution allows flexible power capacities, either 257kWh for 2 hours or 514kWh for a 4-hour duration, boasting over 90% round-trip efficiency. Fully integrated with Power Conversion System (PCS), Energy Management System (EMS), and Battery Management System (BMS), it operates seamlessly in various scenarios, including standalone ESS, hybrid PV + ESS systems, electric vehicle (EV) chargers combined with ESS, and microgrids.

Notably, the PowerStack utilizes advanced liquid cooling technology, ensuring high energy density and enhanced safety features powered by intelligent battery management. The plug-and-play design further allows for flexibility in scalability, catering to evolving requirements for energy storage projects—ranging from peak shaving to renewable energy integration.
