Scheduled for release on September 10, 2025, by Shodensha, this new edition was inspired by its previous title, "I Will Become a Literary Girl," which was originally published in 2016 by Bungeishunju. The cover art is created by Awai, with design work by Kouhei Nawa Design Office.

Kojima crafted this engaging narrative while he was residing in Nagano Prefecture, making regular trips to Tokyo for research and collecting insights from a major publishing house's youth manga editing team. Since its initial release, the novel has garnered high praise not just for its humor and relatable realism but also for its emotional depth that resonates strongly with readers.

Kojima Yotarou, born in 1991 in Nagano, graduated from Shinshu University’s humanities department but dropped out. He won the 16th Boiled Eggs Newcomer Award in January 2014 for his work "I’m Quite Difficult". His debut book was published by KADOKAWA in the same year, and he has released several other works, such as "Kung Fu & Chicken," "After School Alone Alliance," "The Way of the Maiden," and "You Next to Me."
