The new approach features a clear, color-coded labeling system that makes it easier to identify suitable battery options to meet the demands of modern vehicles.

With the increasing complexity of vehicles on the road today, VARTA recognized the need for a diverse range of batteries. The new color system categorizes batteries into four distinct types, each identified by its own color-coded label to facilitate fast recognition:

• - SLI (Starting, Lighting, and Ignition - Blue Label): This battery delivers reliable starting power for conventional vehicles.
• - EFB (Enhanced Flooded Battery - Silver Label): Designed for Start-Stop vehicles and commercial vehicles, the EFB enhances durability during winter usage.
• - AGM (Absorbent Glass Mat - Gold Label): This high-performance option caters to advanced Start-Stop applications, heavily equipped commercial vehicles, and hybrid electric vehicle systems.
• - Li-Ion (Orange Label): This new entry is specifically crafted for deep discharge applications in leisure activities, such as RVs and boats, providing superior energy storage and connectivity through a Bluetooth app.
