Explore the Secrets of Delicious Beef at a Hokkaido Farm Summer Tour

Explore the Secrets of Beef at a Hokkaido Farm

In July 2025, on the 19th and 20th, Pal System Tokyo invites consumers to join an exclusive farm tour at Miyakita Farm in Hokkaido, a key producer of their private brand, Core Food Beef. During this event, participants will have the chance to engage directly with the farmers, learn about sustainable beef production, and enjoy a dinner featuring the farm's own delicious beef.

A Closer Look at Cattle Raising

Miyakita Farm, located in Kitahiroshima City, has a rich history of breeding and raising Angus cattle. They have long been committed to sustainable practices, using locally sourced feed such as grass, corn, potatoes, and beer byproducts, thereby minimizing reliance on imported resources. Currently, the farm houses around 250 cattle, all raised with care to produce high-quality beef.

Participants in this tour, mostly families who are consumers of Pal System, will have a guided tour of the barn led by the farmers themselves. This hands-on experience allows them to observe the storage of livestock feed and witness the feeding process, gaining insight into how the beef they enjoy is raised.

A Communal Dining Experience

As part of the evening’s program, participants will gather for a dinner where they will have the opportunity to taste the farm's own beef. This communal setting encourages sharing insights and experiences among participants and producers, fostering a deeper connection to the food.

More Than Just a Farm Visit

On the second day of the tour, attendees will also visit Escon Field Hokkaido, the home stadium of the Hokkaido Nippon-Ham Fighters, as well as the Hokuren Kururu no Mori facility, where they can engage further in the connections between food and agriculture. Here, they can enjoy local cuisine and shop for regional products before heading back to Tokyo.

Pal System Tokyo is committed to facilitating ongoing exchanges between producers and consumers across the country, offering a variety of engagement activities throughout the year. Participants will explore various production sites, from fruit orchards to livestock farms, gaining firsthand knowledge about food production and fostering 'visible relationships' between consumers and producers.

Miyakita Farm encourages transparency and connection through initiatives such as 'open verification meetings' where users can witness production processes or training sessions for staff.
