Active Initiatives and New Products

In line with its commitment to animal welfare, SBI Prism launched the first pet insurance in the industry aimed at rescued dogs and cats in October 2017. Known as the "Affectionate Fur Fur Insurance," this initiative was part of their drive towards achieving zero euthanasia rates for pets. Additionally, starting in April 2023, they introduced the "Prism Pet" insurance, which offers comprehensive coverage for expenses associated with living with pets, ensuring that owners receive financial support for various needs.

Looking ahead, significant enhancements are on the horizon for SBI Prism’s product offerings. In April 2025, the company plans to expand the list of pet species eligible for its exotic animal insurance products, responding to growing customer requests. Furthermore, from June 2025, they will launch the "Energetic Support Plan over 8," aimed particularly at senior pets. This product is designed to provide coverage for costly treatments such as hospitalizations and surgeries, allowing pet owners to secure insurance even as their pets age.
